As part of its ongoing celebration of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender History Month, the San Francisco GLBT Historical Society will host a book release party for William Lipsky's forthcoming tome Gay and Lesbian San Francisco. It features over 200 historic photographs and focuses on lesser-known examples of early queer cultural production and community building. The event will take place at the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco on Thursday, October 25, 6-8 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
