Acclaimed gay author Christopher Rice is celebrating the naming of his book Light Before Day as Frontiers magazine's first-ever summer book selection with a guided conversation about writing, love, and life. James St. James, author of Party Monster, will be cohosting the event.

The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, at A Different Light bookstore, 8853 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood. Admission is free. For more information call (310) 854-6601 or visit A Different Light bookstore online.
