Other festivities
include a Latino Filmmaker Spotlight screening, a Fort
Lauderdale screening of
Spinnin,

El Patio de Mi Carcel
(
My Prison Yard
), and the Closing Night Gala screeni
ng Fuera de Carte
(
Chef's Special
).
The festival director
said, "I am thrilled to be part of this new festival, which
can only enhance the South Florida festival community. Here's
an opportunity to see a wide range of Latin works that
otherwise might not be available to South Floridians. What is
so great about this festival is you don't have to be Latin or
gay to appreciate and enjoy these films. You only have to
appreciate high-quality cinema."
The nonprofit Miami
Latin Gay Film Festival is the largest gay and lesbian film
festival in the United States devoted to the finest Latin films
from around the world.
