Daniel Rodriguez Sr., the father of one of the men accused of assaulting openly gay Queens resident Jack Price, asked for mercy for his son in an interview with a Fox affiliate in New York.

Rodriguez Sr. apologized to Price and his family, saying that he "failed [his] son" when he stopped being a father to him.
