Rue McClanahan is now recovering from a stroke that followed her November heart bypass surgery.

The former Golden Girl suffered the stroke soon after the surgery, though doctors were able to remove the blood clot that caused the stroke. The 75-year-old actress is not home yet: she spent two weeks in the ICU and is now in a nursing facility for rehabilitation.

According to her husband, Matthew Wilson, her voice and movement have been affected. "She's going to require a lot more physical and speech therapy -- but at least it's not like I stay awake at nights anymore thinking that Rue is going to die."
