A second campaign to recall Portland's openly gay mayor has raised about $18,000, according to recent campaign finance filings.

The first campaign came after Mayor Sam Adams admitted to lying about his relationship with Beau Breedlove, a former intern.

The largest contribution to Portland Future PAC, which is orchestrating the recall, was made by Columbia Sportswear President/CEO Tim Boyle, who contributed $7,500.

According to The Oregonian, campaign organizers said they would spend up to $250,000 on a recall effort, including money to hire professional petition signature gatherers. Portland Future PAC was approved last week to start collecting signatures.

The first recall effort garnered $19,000 in 2009.
