Man Arrested for Performing Circumcisions at Home

A Michigan man was arrested Tuesday and charged with performing circumcisions
without a license.
According to WZZM News, Thomas Heugel of Sparta was charged with unauthorized practice as a medical professional. He is accused of circumcising at least three men in a bedroom of his home.
Heugel, 56, told the men he was a licensed medical doctor. He later told Kent County deputies that he was once an Army doctor, but one of his neighbors told WZZM that he was "a retired EMT or something."
Investigators believe Heugel networked on Craigslist and Adam4Adam.com, but they have yet to find evidence of him offering his circumcisions on these sites.
