The first-ever PSAs designed to promote LGBT participation in the U.S. Census are available for viewing.
Six new PSAs feature leaders across the LGBT community, including Mara Keisling (pictured) of the National Center for Transgender Equality; Ben de Guzman of the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance; Harry Knox of religion and faith programs at the Human Rights Campaign; Earl Fowlkes from the International Federation of Black Prides; Lisbeth Melendez Rivera of UNID@S National Latina/o LGBT Human Rights Organization, who delivers the PSA in Spanish; and Maxim Thorne of the NAACP.
The PSAs were unveiled Monday during a press conference at the LGBT Community Center in New York City. Star Trek star George Takei attended with his husband Brad Altman.
