To help kick off Stand Up! Week, Ireland's BeLonG To campaign for LGBT youth has released a powerful video that encourages teens to stand up for their friends and combat homophobic bullying.

BeLonG To
is an organization for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youth between the ages of 14 and 23. According to the group's site, it believes that "LGBT young people need to be respected and cared for on the same basis as all other young people, and that when they are safe and supported in their families, schools and society they will thrive as healthy and equal citizens."

Their new advocacy campaign, Stand Up! LGBT Awareness Week! (April 4-15), hopes to create a positive understanding of LGBT youth and their issues.
