First Lady Michelle Obama made her first appearance on the official 2012 campaign trail, asking supporters to work for her husband harder than they did to get him elected in 2008.
Obama mentioned the several accomplishments that the President spearheaded during his two-and-a-half years in office, including the ongoing repeal of "don't ask, don't tell." She also spoke of the health care overhaul, appointing justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court, and providing more financial aid for college students, the Associated Press reports.
The First Lady was addressing 500 attendees at the Democratic National Committee's Women's Leadership Forum's annual national issues conference on Thursday.
