Bachmann’s N.H. Staff Didn’t Resign — They Just Left

Not only did Michele Bachmann's entire New Hampshire staff bail on her campaign last week, it appears they left without even saying goodbye.

Despite denials from Bachmann herself on Friday, NBC's campaign embed Jamie Novogrod has confirmed the departures and says he received an email Saturday from Bachmann's campaign spokeswoman saying she hadn't even heard from them.

What will this mean for Bachmann's chances in New Hampshire? "The campaign has been very clear about the fact that they have an Iowa stategy," Novogrod says. "And they're hoping that they can win in Iowa, there will be momentum coming out of that, there will be a new round of media attention, and when the arrive in New Hampshire, they'll arrive the Iowa victors."
