Ricky Martin Wants a Daughter, Not Marriage

Superstar entertainer Ricky Martin says reports that he plans to marry his longtime boyfriend are untrue, but he would like to add a daughter to his family, according to Latina magazine.

Many media outlets have speculated that Martin, who will soon be relocating to New York City to star in the highly anticipated revival of Evita in March, is planning to marry Carlos Gonzalez Abella January 28. The singer-actor, who is also filming an episode of Glee this month, has denied the rumor to People en Espanol. He does, however, reveal that he'd like to add a daughter to his family, which includes 3-year-old twin boys Matteo and Valentino.

"I think that I'll do it later on this year, so that [the kids] are not too far apart in ages," Martin tells the publication. "A little girl! Dios mIo, me muero ... But we're going to talk about that later on. It would be irresponsible to do it now."
