They aren't models, either. They're a real couple.

That little blue Tiffany jewelry box has become so ubiquitous that just showing a small turquois box in a movie immediately brings to mind engagements, weddings, and happily ever after. It fills the pages of bridal mags and (some) little girl dreams. Now, that applies to gay boys, too.

Tiffany & Co. has featured a gay couple for the first time in it's new wedding engagement campaign, and according to Elle, which announced the ad, the two men in the ad are an actual gay couple in New York, rather than merely models.

"Nowadays, the road to marriage is no longer linear, and true love can happen more than once with love stories coming in a variety of forms," said Linda Buckley, Tiffany & Co. VP of North American PR, in a statement to Elle.com. "The Tiffany engagement ring is the first sentence of the story that a couple will write together as they create a life that is deeply intimate and exceptional, which is the message we hope to convey through this campaign."

Tiffany joins Banana Republic, who also featured a real gay couple in their major campaign last year.
