The skies over Perris, Calif., were filled with LGBT folks last weekend, as the 2015 Rainbow Boogie brought queer thrill-seekers together 14,000 feet above land.
The annual event, organized by the gay group Rainbow Skydive, is four days of camraderie and jumps. But we're not just talking a simple leap out of a plane; divers took part in "big-ways," which involves a group of divers coming together in freefall to make specific formations. There were also "wingsuit flocks," where divers are outfitted with inflating suits that form wings and allow them to fly like birds, often together in prearranged formations.
Among the participants were world champion skydiver Dan Brodksy-Chenfeld -- who also runs Skydive Perris, where the event was held -- and Rainbow Skydive founder Mark Rejhon. Check out images from this year's event as well as past years below.
