F. Scott Fitzgerald once wrote, "There are no second acts in American lives," but he obviously never met transgender comedian Julia Scotti. At the age of 63, Scotti took the stage of America's Got Talent last week to regale the audience with her humor, before coming out to fans as transgender.

"Well for the first 28 years of my life I was known as Rick Scotti," she told judges and the audience to everyone's great surprise. Comedian and talent show judge Howie Mandel loved Scotti. "You're funny, you're talented, and you're brave, and I am so glad we got to see you," he said.
