Last week a video of a transgender man named Alex debuted on the Internet, and in the short clip he pours his heart out to the camera about his mother, Pam, and the unconditional love she has always exhibited towards him.

The tear-inducing video is a part of Hallmark's #PutYourHeartToPaper campaign, which (in anticipation of Mother's Day on May 10) features everyday people candidly and lovingly gushing about what makes their mothers so great.

If anything, this video of Alex and Pam will make viewers feel very optimistic about the state of mainstream transgender acceptance. Plus there's nothing wrong with a good cry every now and again.
