WATCH: Vine's Biggest Star Says HIV Is A Gay Thing, Then Deletes Message

The 16-year-old is the most followed person on Vine and dropped an antigay slur while spreading misinformation about HIV.

Teenage Vine star Nash Grier, who has 8.7 million followers on the video sharing app, got caught sharing a six-second video that says HIV is "a gay thing."
Grier first played a portion of a video PSA that showed two men saying "Testing for HIV... It's not a gay thing."
Then Grier appears on screen and yells "Yes, it is. Fag!" Afterward, he grins.
Grier, 16, is the most followed person on Vine and deleted the message, but not before fellow social media star, Tyler Oakley, found it and shared it with his own followers on Sunday.
"Promoting a false stereotype that HIV only affects gays to his millions of teen fans is extremely dangerous," wrote Oakley, who is out, and who has 2.6 million followers on Twitter and another 4.6 million on YouTube. "Call me and people like me, 'fag' all you want, but spreading false information about deadly diseases is next level."
