June In the Life focuses on government and military issues and profiles PFLAG founders

The June episode of In the Life (airing throughout the month--check local listings) will cover a broad range of topical stories, including how governmental policies from McCarthy to the Patriot Act have branded gays and lesbians as security risks and how "don't ask, don't tell" is hindering the war on terror. The show will also profile the founders of Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays on the occasion of PFLAG's 30th anniversary. Actress Cherry Jones hosts.
