Gay Amazing Race team Lynn Warren and Alex Ali were married Wednesday morning in Ottawa, Canada, reports CTV. "Getting married is much more thrilling than Amazing Race because the prize at the end is true love and a happy life ever after," said Warren after the ceremony. "It was very emotional because it was very real. And it's something we've been waiting for years and years." Ottawa radio station Hot 89.9 paid for the wedding, a ceremony that would have no legal standing in the couple's home state of California. Warren encouraged other gay couples to make the trek north to tie the knot: "It's a big world. Come to Canada, come to Ottawa, and have a beautiful wedding and celebrate your love. And be with people who celebrate instead of tolerate."
