People magazine's annual Sexiest Men Alive list was just released, and although the ultimate title went to soccer star and LGBT ally David Beckham, two notable queer men have been honored with a spot on the esteemed list -- the gay couple featured in the recent Campbell's Soup commercial.

"I didn't realize it would blow up and become the big deal it has become," Larry Sullivan told People about all the attention he and his husband, David Monahan, have been getting after an adorable Campbell's Soup advertisement of them feeding their son, Cooper, quickly went viral.

"Neither of us have been on the 'I'm an activist' train, and I still don't think we really are, because all we're doing is just living our lives," he added. "But it just so happens that our spot is entering people's living rooms that normally probably wouldn't let us into their homes, and they don't really have a choice."

The two were given the Sexiest Pitchmen Alive title for their now-famous commercial that promoted Campbell's Star Wars soup line for the #RealRealLife campaign.

"All we're trying to do is pay for preschool and our mortgage!" said Monahan. "But we're happy to be that couple who put ourselves out there to just show that families come in all shapes and sizes."

Watch the commercial below and check out who else made the cut for this year's Sexiest Men Alive over at People's website.
