Couples wanting to marry in Saudi Arabia will have to undergo HIV and hepatitis testing starting in 2008. If either partner's test yields a positive result but they still want to marry, the national justice ministry will examine their case, according to the Independent of South Africa.

According to TheBody.com, Saudi Arabia reported 1,285 HIV/ AIDS cases between 1984 and 2002. (The Advocate)
