A group of transgender women offered free makeovers on a street in Quito two weeks ago, with the goal of educating participants how it feels to look like someone from the opposite gender.
According to the blog Blabbenado, "The event was described by organizers as a 'street performance' that was part of a week-long series of events seeking to raise awareness about transgender rights in Ecuador."
