Modern Renewed Betty in Trouble

But the fates of Better Off Ted and Ugly Betty are still up in the air, he said.
Betty, which just moved from its graveyard Friday night time slot to Wednesdays at 10 p.m. after the also-just-renewed Cougar Town, is still struggling in the ratings. But McPherson assured critics he's a "big fan" of Betty and is hoping that with some extra marketing muscle, it can regain its footing.
McPherson also declined to comment on the fate of Better Off Ted, which stars out actors Portia de Rossi and Jonathan Slavin, saying only that he hopes there is the potential for the show to grow.
