San Diego police are seeking a thief with a penchant for NFL gear who appears to be targeting gay men at a bar in the Hillcrest area.
According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the suspect, who called himself "Paul" or "John," picked up at least two men on December 2 and 18 at Urban Mo's, a bar on University Avenue near Third Avenue.
"The victims, who were in their 30s, ended up inviting the suspect back to their homes in North Park and Bankers Hill," reported the Union-Tribune. "When they woke up, they discovered that items such as laptops, cash, credit cards and Chargers gear had been stolen."
Police describe the suspect as an African-American in his 20s, between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 3 inches tall, about 170 pounds, and bald, with a gold earring in his left ear.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the San Diego police.
