San Francisco indie rock band Girls is contributing music to a new short film, which happens to be gay porn shot documentary style.
Director Travis Mathews sent an e-mail to editors at Spin tipping the magazine off to Girls' involvement: "I'm writing to tell you about a gay hardcore short film I directed called I Want Your Love that I think your readers will want to see and hear about," the e-mail from Mathews read.
The band is no stranger to pushing buttons. In a music video for the song "Lust for Life," a man uses another man's penis as a microphone.
Mathews's film I Want Your Love is is due next month. A preview is currently available online. Girls' debut album, simply titled Album, hit the top of the Billboard heatseekers chart in September.
