A new poll has found that while Americans as a whole are showing less interest in "going green," gay people are increasing their commitment to the environment.
A Harris Poll conducted in November shows that fewer Americans are working to conserve water, purchase local produce, or buy a fuel-efficient car than they did in 2009. While only one third of heterosexual Americans say they are personally invested in the future of the environment, 55% of gay respondents say it is a big concern for them.
