Wilson Cruz: Young People Don't Care If an Actor Is Gay
Actor-activist Wilson Cruz discusses whether he's been turned down for roles for being openly gay, in a new interview with website Dot429.
The busy actor who's been out publicly since he starred in the lamented series My So-called Life in 1994 says he's probably missed out on parts due to his sexual orientation, but he thinks the younger generation is savvy and educated and cares only about the quality of the work. He also reveals his upcoming projects -- he has a role in the new Fox series The Finder, and he'll star opposite Lukas Haas in a film about meth addiction.
