Beth Kukucka will be exhibiting excerpts from her life of 50 years of photographing it. Her Fine Arts work has been nationally exhibited and has been described as "dreamy and ethereal." Beth's work has been published in Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, and People Magazine.
Beth will also be exhibiting 20 favorite excerpts from her coverage of the gay rights movement, spanning four decades. Most of the images from this time took place in Los Angeles during the 1990s, including the AB101 marches that were the result of Governor Pete Wilson's veto of a gay rights bill that he promised to sign. There were ACT-UP marches, the AIDS Quilt, Queer Nation, AIDS, the March on Washington, Sacramento and D.C., Don't Ask Don't Tell, and the dedication of Queer Village in West Hollywood. It was a rich and important time in the LGBT community.
Her work will be exhibited alongside of Micheal Wicks, internationally known for his spectacular nature photography - in particular his underwater images, which are colorful portraits of nature at her finest. Michael's work has been featured in the National Wildlife Federation, and published in USA Travel and Underwater Photo Magazine.
