A member of the Swedish parliament was the victim of an antigay attack at a hot dog stand in Stockholm Saturday night.
A group of six or seven men approached Fredrick Federly and two others, shouting, "Here come the fags," according to The Local, a Swedish newspaper. Federly told the paper that the group called gays a "threat to Sweden" and warned the men they would beat them. As he tried to convince the group that he did not want to fight, he was punched in the left jaw.
He was hit three more times before a gang member was able to control the most aggressive fighter, according to the report.
Federly, a member of the Centre Party, was able to return to parliament Monday. (The Advocate)
