Strand releases <i>Lan Yu</i> on home video (8286)

Strand Releasing Home Video will release Lan Yu, the acclaimed love story from Hong Kong director Stanley Kwan, on DVD and VHS on Tuesday, April 8. A film festival favorite that Newsweek called one of 2002's best movies, Lan Yu tells the story of the relationship between a young college student and a closeted middle-aged businessman set against the backdrop of recent Chinese history, including the uprising in Tiananmen Square.
