Gay television network Here has announced that it is developing a new film written by Chastiny Bono and Garth Belcon. The film, In the Name of Love is about a lesbian troubled by steamy heterosexual dreams. The movie flips the usual coming out story on its head.
Chastity Bono recently authored a collection of coming out stories in the work Family Outing. Garth Belcon is a writer/producer whose previous works include Fronterz and White Boys.
In a statement from the Vice President of Original Programing at Here Merdith Kadlec said, "We love Chastity and Garth's unusual spin on the coming-out genre. Chastity has long been admired by the LGBT community and we think our audience will enjoy getting to know her in a new way - as a screenwriter".
