Award-winning rocker Melissa Etheridge is auctioning off a signed guitar and other fan-friendly perks to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Last year she auctioned off a similar guitar, garnering $120,000 for breast cancer research. Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer while on tour in 2004.
With 59 bids at press time, the signed guitar, CD, set list, and front-row tickets for an upcoming show are commanding $16,600 at eBay.com.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the foundation. The auction ends October 25. (The Advocate)
