Visual AIDS, an organization founded in 1988 to educate people about AIDS issues through art, is holding an exhibit to coincide with the 16th International AIDS Conference in Toronto. Titled "Between Ten," the exhibit will showcase the work of seven artists covering the 10 years since the introduction of highly active antiretroviral therapy in 1996. Featured artists include Albert Winn, Joe De Hoyos, Nancer LeMoins, Luna Luis Ortiz, Eric Rhein, Stephen Andrews, and Steed Taylor. The exhibit will be held August 14-18 at SPIN Gallery, 1100 Queen St. West. A reception will be held 7-9 p.m. on August 15. For more information, go online to www.visualaids.org.
