Faculty members at Colorado State University are weighing the option of granting employees and their same-sex partners the same health care benefits that married faculty enjoy. The plan would not include students, according to the Associated Press.

CSU Faculty Council chairman Bob Jones said in the article that it is the right time for the proposed policy change. The plan will likely advance to the CSU Board of Governors in May for approval, where a similar proposal was rejected four years ago. (The Advocate)
