Campaign Manager Under Fire for Tweets

Indiana politician Marvin Scott's campaign manager is in hot water after tweeting antigay statements on his Twitter account.

According to WISH News, Stan Solomon has equated being gay with being a pedophile and has written, "Filthy Queer wants kids of 14 for sex," and "U should not allow queers around kids."

Scott said he wasn't aware of his campaign manager's tweets, but he apologized "to that community," adding "I'm disappointed to hear this, and I am taking steps to remedy that."

Scott, a Republican, is running to represent Indiana's seventh district in the U.S. House.

Monday night Solomon tweeted about an incident at a school in which gay pornography was accidentally shown to high school seniors. "Can we say that was bad," he wrote, "or is that homophobic."
