Internet entrepreneur and U.S. representative Jared Polis said he would help fellow congressman Sen. Saxby Chambliss find the member of his staff who last week left a
homophobic remark on the gay blog Joe My God.
"We know which computer it came from; all you need to do is look at the browser history," Polis said Friday on CNN, according to The Hill. "And if one of them erased their browser history, boom, you've figured out who it is."
He added that if Chambliss's staff couldn't figure it out, he would "go down there myself and do it for them."
One of Chambliss's staff members anonymously left the comment on the blog after an effort to repeal the "don't ask, don't tell" policy failed in the Senate on Tuesday. The commenter, identified as "Jimmy," posted the slur "All f****ts must die."
