Prosecutors have opened an investigation into a far-right Serbian leader accused of directing antigay violence at the gay pride march in Belgrade over the weekend.
According to the Associated Press, Mladen Obradovic of the Obraz, or Honor, group is suspected of "violent conduct" and, if convicted, could face up to 12 years in jail for his role in the clashes.
"More than 150 people were injured in running battles with police as thousands of far-right demonstrators tried to disrupt a gay pride march in downtown Belgrade by hurling Molotov cocktails and stun grenades," reported the AP.
