The teenager accused of stabbing a New York journalist to death in March 2009 was convicted Tuesday of second-degree murder.
John Katehis, who was 16 at the time of the murder, said he had hooked up with George Weber, 47, via Craigslist and had stabbed him approximately 50 times in self-defense after a struggle.
Weber's body was found bound at the ankles with duct tape.
This was Katehis's second trial for the crime. His October 2010 trial resulted in a hung jury.
Katehis will be sentenced December 7. He faces 25 years in prison.
