On a recent campaign stop in her home state, Michele Bachmann was heckled by activists from Occupy Iowa City who drowned out her attempts to mingle with supporters.

In response to Bachmann's position on health care, taxes, and gay rights, the two dozen protestors who showed up at Iowa City's Hamburg Inn chanted various messages of opposition to the Minnesota representative (and Iowa native) while the restaurant's manager attempted to drown them out by blaring Christmas songs over the sound system.

The chanting ended with "You're not wanted here. So, go, just go!"

While police were called, no arrests were made.

Witnesses say Bachmann ignored the protesters and even thanked the Hamburg Inn's owner before leaving.
