Key West, Fla., had already been partying for a week of Pride with cocktail parties and boat excursions when the tragic news of the Pulse nightclub shooting came on Sunday morning, the day of the main events and parade. So, while not losing the joyful tone of their Pride celebrations, Key West revelers also dedicated their parade to their sister city Orlando and marched in recognition of how far we still need to go.
