January 27 is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. #WeRemember the Nazis' persecution of gay men.

Homosexual men in Germany were persecuted, imprisoned, and humiliated by the Nazis, and many were killed. They were seen as not confirming to the "German norm." In camps they were singled out with pink triangles and designated for ill treatment. For many decades afterward, the victims were never acknowledged, their stories never told.
It is important to remember and tell their stories now.
