The Boston Ballet will conclude its 50th season with a debut engagement at New York City's Lincoln Center.
Performances, which run Wednesday through Sunday at the David H. Koch Theater, include the New York premieres of José Martinez's Resonance and Alexander Ekman's Cacti. The program also features William Forsythe's The Second Detail, Vaslav Nijinsky's Afternoon of a Faun, George Balanchine's Symphony in Three Movements, Jorma Elo's Plan to B, and Jiří Kylián's Bella Figura.
Among the Boston Ballet company's brightest stars is soloist John Lam, a member of the troupe since 2003. A son of Vietnamese immigrants, Lam lives in Boston with his husband and their young son.
