Truman Capote novella being developed for big screen

The New York Post reports that producer Lester Persky is collaborating with Aurelio DeLaurentiis of Filmauro Films to develop Handcarved Coffins, the Truman Capote novella, into a movie. Persky purchased the property from Capote years ago, after the novella was serialized in Andy Warhols Interview magazine.
