Project Angel Food, a Los Angeles organization that provides meals and nutrition services for HIV-positive people and those with other diseases, will hold a bowling fund-raiser event on April 30 in Burbank, Calif. The annual "Bowling for Angels" event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pickwick Gardens Bowling Center, 1001 Riverside Dr. The event will be divided in two shifts: from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Last year's event raised $80,000 for the agency, and Project Angel Food officials hope to raise $100,000 this year.
