The American Foundation for AIDS Research and the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health will coordinate a symposium examining the HIV/AIDS epidemic among men who have sex with men and the challenges of HIV prevention for this population. The symposium, meant to commemorate World AIDS Day on December 1, will be made up of an international panel of experts in the field of HIV treatment, prevention, and education.
The event will take place Monday, November 27, at 6:30 p.m., at the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York City. The event is free and open to the public, although RSVP is required by Monday, November 20.
