Want your friends to know you have a clean bill of health? There's an app for that.
Users of the popular Foursquare mobile app, which shows fellow users where a person is once they opt to "check in" at a location, be it a taco stand or their favorite boutique, can now check in to local heath clinics to let everyone know they've been tested for sexually transmitted diseases. Users can earn a badge, part of MTV's and Kaiser Family Foundation's "GYT: Get Yourself Tested" campaign on Foursquare during the month of September, according to the Associated Press.
Those wanting the lime-green and black badge can go to their own doctors or can find nearby clinics using GYT's website.
