Conservatives Answer "The Call"

Conservatives who follow Mike Huckabee and the Family Research Council's Tony Perkins are gathering this weekend in Sacramento for "The Call" -- an event that Courage Campaign bloggers are calling "NOM summer tour on steroids."

Organized by Lou Engle -- who called the legalization of same-sex marriage in California in 2008 "more demonic than Islam" -- the event has the support of Huckabee, who is urging followers to "turn this nation back to God, as Jesus is our only hope," in a promotional video.
