George Michael is going to jail after a British judge sentenced him to eight weeks behind bars for crashing his car into a London shop.
It is the latest in a string of drug-related mishaps for the singer, who was found under the influence and in possession of marijuana in July when he crashed his Range Rover into a Snappy Snaps store.
Michael was sentenced Tuesday morning in Highbury Corner magistrates' court, which also fined him 1,250 pounds ($1,930). According to the Associated Press, he is likely to serve only half the time behind bars.
In February 2006, Michael was found slumped at the wheel of his car at London's busy Hyde Park Corner. Two months later, he hit three parked cars while trying to maneuver out of a parking space. Later that October he was found slumped over the wheel of his car again -- this time in the middle of an intersection.
Last year Michael released a statement saying he was "stone cold sober" when he crashed his car into a truck outside London.
