Elton John Is a New Dad

Elton John and husband David Furnish are the parents of a newborn son named Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, reports People magazine.

The baby weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and was delivered via surrogate in California on December 25.

The couple released a statement to the press that read, "We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment. Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents."
