Antigay Churchgoer Loves Signorile
A member of the Crystal Cathedral, the church that required choir members to sign a document confirming their belief in the "biblical view" of sexual intimacy and marriage, told radio host Michelangelo Signorile he thinks homosexuality is a choice, but he doesn't think he's better than anyone, and he loves gay people as his brothers and sisters.
John from Imperial Valley calls into the show and the two promptly launch into a discussion about whether or not homosexuality is a choice. John believes it is, but says, "I'm no better than you. I'm no better than the person in the car next to me."
Signorile counters, "I am better than you. I am a better person than you because I don't follow some mumbo-jumbo ugly bunch of claimed hateful beliefs to discriminate against people."
